For $100 a brick will be reserved for you in the pathway leading to the Sellwood Bridge Memorial & the SMILE Station.  All the bricks will be engraved on site in the spring of 2018, where it will become a part of Sellwood-Moreland history forever! Want something larger than a standard brick? There are 46 12″x 12″ large pavers directly in front of the Sellwood Bridge Memorial available for $500 each.

Each standard brick can accommodate up to 3 lines and 15 characters per line.  Please note: all the spaces between words/names count as characters.  The 12″x 12″ pavers can accommodate up to 10 lines and 25 characters per line.  You choose the message on your brick – share a favorite quote, honor someone special, a business name, family name(s) or perhaps commemorating your beloved pet.

Reservations for bricks begin in October, 2017!  SMILE is offering a 10% discount for bricks purchased by Dec 31st, 2017.  So a $100 engraved brick will be only $90 and a $500 paver will be only $450 if purchased before the end 2017. There are over 500 standard bricks and a 46 larger pavers.

The brick pathway has already been installed and will be engraved on site in the Spring of 2018, when the better weather will allow for optimal engraving. It will take about a week to do and we will notify you when it’s being done.

You can pick your size, there are two available, a 4″x 8″ standard brick or a 12″x 12″ paver, and you pick your own personal message, but you cannot pick your actual brick or it’s placement in the pathway. All the 12″ x 12″ pavers are directly in front of the Sellwood Bridge Memorial with the bricks laying the pathway itself. Most of the standard bricks are classic red, with some a medium grey. All of the larger pavers are a light grey.

SMILE is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Sellwood and West Moreland neighborhoods in Portland, Oregon. The purchase price per brick will go towards the cost of the fundraiser itself including obtaining the bricks, laying the path, and engraving each brick. The remaining funds will be collected by SMILE to maintain the historic SMILE Station for years to come as well as to help fund our sponsorship of many SMILE events such as Sundae in the Park, the Neighborhood Clean Up and the Easter Egg Hunt.
